The 2026 Festival Wine of the Fine Food Days Cologne comes from Weingut Klumpp.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Tested and found to be very good. In cooperation with the K\u00f6lner Stadt-Anzeiger, an exclusive wine tasting took place on Monday, June 22nd: organic vintner Markus Klumpp presented, for the first time, the wines that the Fine Food Days Cologne association has chosen as its festival wines for this year. On the 28th floor of the K\u00f6lnSKY event location, there was a fantastic view over the city, the Rhine, and the cathedral spires while sampling white, ros\u00e9, and red wines.
A good view, which the organic vintner Markus Klumpp, who travelled from Kraichgau, also enjoyed. Chief correspondent Joachim Frank guided the evening with readers of the \u201eK\u00f6lner Stadt-Anzeiger\u201c. The avowed wine enthusiast spoke with vintner Klumpp about the wines, vines, vintage and making of this special Cologne wine edition. And about whether you actually need a special wine glass for each type of wine. \u201eWe use a standard glass at home.\u201c Nothing more. \u201eIt's a bit larger and is suitable for white and ros\u00e9 wines as well as red wines. We also drink everything that sparkles out of it, by the way,\u201c said Klumpp.
K\u00f6lnSKY head chef S\u00f6nke H\u00f6ltgen impressed with a rich selection of finger food, including oysters from Frische Paradies in H\u00fcrth-Efferen.
In his brief welcoming words, board member Franz Gruber raised his glass to Michael Stern. The managing director of K\u00f6lnSKY and initiator of the Fine Food Days Cologne, died in early May after a serious illness.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
