Open-heart cooking – Max Strohe from „Tulus Lotrek“ Berlin cooks and chats in conversation with Denis Scheck

Max Strohe is a chef and host at the Michelin-starred „Tulus Lotrek“ in Berlin-Kreuzberg. During the pandemic, together with his wife Illona Scholl, he founded the „Kochen für Helden“ (Cooking for Heroes) initiative, for which he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. With his autobiographical book „Kochen am offenen Herzen“, Max Strohe has achieved nothing less than the invention of culinary pop literature, recounting his years of apprenticeship and travel – a book that captivates and definitely leaves you wanting seconds. At the Fine Food Days Cologne, Max Strohe will be reading from his new book, discussing food and literature with Denis Scheck – and cooking!
