New series in the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger „Brilliantly Simple“

In cooperation with the Fine Food Days Cologne, chefs from Cologne and the surrounding region present fantastic recipes every Saturday in the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger. The contributors include Michelin-starred chef Julia Komp, who runs her restaurant „Sahila“ and the mezzebar „Yulia“ in Cologne's Griechenmarktviertel; Michelin-starred chef Marlon Rademacher, who runs the restaurant „La Cuisine Rademacher“ in Dellbrück on the right bank of the Rhine; Sönke Höltgen, who is responsible for event catering at „Köln Sky“; Michelin-starred chef Thomas Gilles from Clostermanns Hof in Niederkassel; Hendrik Olfen from the restaurant „Henne Weinbar“ in the city centre; and pastry chef Paula xy from Restaurant Grubers.

In the first episode, Sönke Höltgen („Köln Sky“) cooks: boiled beef with savoy cabbage and stuffed potato balls. The recipes are easy to follow for people who regularly cook or bake – and it can certainly be something special for guests. Always included: an unusual ingredient or a special trick that achieves a great result.

The recipes will be varied and seasonal – from starters to desserts. „Brilliant“ also refers to the fact that we were able to recruit six renowned names from the region's top culinary scene for the recipes: The four chefs, one female chef, and one pastry chef from the top gastronomy sector will take turns presenting a dish each week, which is usually significantly simpler than what they themselves create every day, but which meets their high standards for a delicious dish and bears their signature.
