An unusual event, as if in the middle of a market. Staged by Volker Beuchert, Culinary Director of Kirberg Catering, right in the halls of Möllers.

Restaurant guests normally don't have access to this place. Although everything here revolves around culinary delights with pulsating vibrancy from 4:00 AM every morning. We are in the halls of the food wholesaler and importer Möllers, Cologne's culinary institution, on the former Cologne slaughterhouse site. A place where food from all over the world is kept ready for restaurateurs. Cologne's pantry, lovingly called „the belly of Cologne“. For many chefs, it's a piece of paradise.

On this special evening, guests will take their seats at a long table. The table is richly laid with pintxos, with water and wine at the ready. The evening can begin: Mediterranean dishes will be served. Inspired by specialities from Spain, the Basque Country, and France, all of which hold a story within them, full of enjoyment and joie de vivre. This is what we want to share, taste, and enjoy this evening.
