Direkt im ersten Jahr wurde Maximilian Lorenz zum „Küchenchef des Jahres“ in Römer’s Restaurant Report und „Newcomer des Jahres“ bei GUSTO. Bis zum April 2018 erkochte Maximilian Lorenz mit seinem Team im L’escalier mit einen Stern im Guide Michelin sowie 16 Punkte im Gault&Millau.
Mit seinem Catering- und Eventzweig begeistert Lorenz seit 2019 seine Kunden, egal ob bei einem Candlelight-Dinner zu zweit oder einer mehrtägigen Großveranstaltung mit 5.000 Gästen. Mit dem maximilian lorenz foodtruck, der zu 100% autark betrieben werden kann, sind selbst Veranstaltungen auf der grünen Wiese möglich.
Als Besitzer des weinladen maximilian lorenz, schräg gegenüber seiner Restaurants und als Teilhaber im Alten Lindenhof in seiner Geburtsstadt Bergisch Gladbach rundet Maximilian sein unternehmerisches wie gastronomisches Portfolio ab.
Im März 2022 erweiterte Lorenz sein gastronomisches Portfolio um ein weiteres Restaurant, in der ML STRASSENKÜCHE werden gesunde und ausgewogene Streetfood-Gerichte wie Bowls serviert. Das Motto hier lautet: Gesunde, Nachhaltige und leckere Gerichte zu zaubern. Deshalb wird dort auf raffinierten Zucker und Geschmacksverstärker komplett verzichtet!
